Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency ANATEL was hacked of protest against the companie!
ANATEL – Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency was hacked this week and the system page was showing picture of ProtoWave. In form of protest against the companie and the the Marco Civil law, the database and various information leaked online. Apparently the companie was hacked by its members.
The hacker also left messages like “Yeah Quiet Okay Vulnerable” a sarcasm from a the song “Yeah quiet, okay favor” MC bin Laden. It seems the problem is solved. The website is back online and returned to work normally. Beneath the picture of MC bin Laden we can see another message which means in translation: “If it took me five minutes to break into this sh…t, how long the NSA would?” Other companies like GVT, Oi, Claro, Vivo, Tim, NET, Embratel and more were threatened to be the next.
The fight is against Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (in Portuguese: Marco Civil da Internet, officially Law No 12.965). Apparently the low governs state action through forecasting principles.
