You are may be shocked when all of a sudden you computer started getting pop-up ads. You don’t understand why this could happen? And no wonder when not pay attention installing something using express installation. Using express installation mode of some software you actually allowed the malware program to install as an additional software to your computer. In other words (malicious software) was installed bundled with other programs. There’s really a lot of ways that malware may attack and get to your computer. Malware programs can appears on all off your browsers. NOTE: Malware is promoted as an application to improve the user’s online experience. It is recommended to take extreme caution with those “Ads”, since there is chance that some of the content might be fraudulent and may even be dangerous to your PC.

How to remove “name of the malware”

Short guide:

  1. Login as administrator.
  2. Go to control panel and uninstall “name of the malware”.
  3. Remove “name of the malware” folder from program files and start menu.
  4. Remove “name of the malware” from your browser extensions.
  5. Clear your browser cookies.
  6. Reset your browser settings.
  7. Delete all temporary files from disk cleanup.
  8. Restart your computer.

How to remove “Malware” with Malwarebytes for free”

  1. Download Malwarebytes anti-malware.
  2. After program has been downloaded, double-click to open it. User will have to install the program. Clik on Malwarebytes.exe to start the process.
  3. User Account Control dialog may appear, asking you to allow the following program to make changes to this computer. Click “Yes” or “Run” to proceed with the installation. User can also choose variety of languages. Click Ok and the installation will begin with a welcome massage for malwarebytes.

    Click Next to continue to the next step. User will also have to accept malwarebytes license agreement by clicking on “I accept the agreement” and click Next.

    Malwarebytes will ask user to read important information provided before continuing. Once done click on Next to go to the next step. User can choose where to install the program. By default – C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware.

    The process will continue to a stat menu folder name, which by default is Malwarebytes. Click Next to the next window, which will have the option to create a shortcut by tick or untick the “Create a desktop shortcut” square box. Click next to continue the installation window and then click install.

    The installation process may take awhile, depending on a computer system performance. Once the installation is done, click Finish.

  4. Update the software before scanning. Once program has been updated go to scan. You can choose from a free trial version or activate license. It is recommended to buy full version as the trial will not protect computer system.
  5. The scan process will begin. The scan process may take awhile, depending on a computer system performance.
  6. Once the scan is complete you can choose between delete or quarantine the viruses. The quarantine option is recommended and since the malware is active a reboot will be required to finish process.

Step by step how to remove “malware” from Chrome, Firefox and Internet explorer:

Step: 1

Log in as an administrator. An administrator is someone who can make changes on a computer. In order to install or uninstall a program, you need to have administrator access, or know the administrator password. To log in as an administrator, you need to have a user account on the computer with an Administrator account type. If your account type is not Administrator, and you don’t know administrator password you can’t uninstall the malware program!

Step: 2

Uninstall malware

In order to Uninstall malware program you need to go control panel. How do we do that? Click on the Start Button at the bottom left corner of your desktop and you will see Control Panel listed. If you don’t see Control Panel listed, it’s possible that the Windows 7 or XP you’re using has been customized to remove this link. If so, type Control panel in the search box at the bottom of the Start Menu and then choose Control Panel from the list of results. It works for all windows.

Another way to go to Control Panel: Hold the Windows Key and R together. Type in appwiz.cpl and click OK.

Now that you’re in control panel go to Uninstall a Program for Windows 7 or Add or remove programs for Windows Xp.

Search for a program calledname of the malware” or and click on the Unistall botton. Unistall the program.

Step: 3

Remove malware folder from program files and start menu.

Now go to My Computer, local disk (C:) or to which your windows is installed. Go to Program files and Program files (x86), than delete the folder called “name of the malware.

Step: 4-5

Remove “name of malware program” from Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer extensions and clear your browser cookies.

Remove “name of malware program” from Google Chrome extensions.

Open Google Chrome and click on the drop menu. Now click on Settings and go to extensions. Take a look for “Ads by name of malware program” or “name of malware program” extension and remove it.

Now it’s time to clear cookies.

  1. Click the Chrome menu at the top right corner..
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings.
  4. In the “Privacy” section, click the Content settings button.
  5. Click All cookies and site data to open the Cookies and site data dialog.
  6. To delete all cookies, click Remove all at the bottom of the dialog.
  7. You can also choose to remove all cookies created during a specific time period, using the Clear Browsing Data dialog.

Remove “name of malware program” from Firefox extensions.

Open Firefox, click on Tools, than Add-ons. At the left side you will find the extensions.

Remove the extension “name of malware program”

Now it’s time to clear cookies.

  1. Click the Firefox menu on the browser toolbar or the tool manu.
  2. Choose History, and then Clear Recent History….
  3. Select how much history you want to clear:
  4. Click the drop menu next to Time range to clear to choose how much of your history Firefox will clear.

Now, click on the arrow next to Details to select what information you want to get cleared.

Finally, click the Clear Now button. The window will close and the items you’ve selected will be cleared.

Remove “name of malware program” from Internet explorer extensions.

Open internet explorer and click on , than go to Manage add-ons.

Now it’s time to clear cookies.

Go to tools, than click “delete browsing history”. Delete all Browsing History.

Step: 6

How to reset your browser settings?

Possibly “name of malware program” will modify your browser settings so you have to reset them to go back to default.

Reset browser settings for Chrome

  1. Click the Chrome menu on the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click on Show advanced settings at the end of the page.
  4. Now click on Reset browser settings at the end of the page.
  5. Click Reset.

Reset browser settings for Firefox

  1. Click the Firefox menu on the browser toolbar or the tool manu.
  2. Open the Help manu.
  3. Click on Troubleshooting information.
  4. Now click on Reset Firefox and the confirmation botton on Reset Firefox again.

Reset browser settings for internet explorer

Open internet explorer and click on, than go to Tools than Internet Options.

Now click on the Advanced menu and click on Reset button. Make sure you Check Delete personal settings and click on Reset button.

Step: 7

Delete all temporary files from disk cleanup.

Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Disk Cleanup, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup. In the Drives list, click the hard disk drive that you want to clean up, and then click OK.

Another way of this is to go to My computer and right click over local disk (C:) or to which your windows is installed and click on properties. Now you can see Disk Cleanup.

Ones you are in the disk cleanup window make sure to tip in the Temporary files box.

Now click OK and Delete Files.

Step: 8

You are done. Now all you have to do is to restart your computer.

NOTE: If ads still pop-up you may be infected with more add-ons witch you have to remove from your PC.
